On Firing Pins and Dry Fire.

Let this be a lesson: dry-firing a SIG P226 300 times a night, every night, for several months straight may eventually break the firing pin.

I speak from experience, and Top Gun Supply appreciates the business.

Thank you, and have a lovely morning.

Cheers,
Bunnyman

Interesting. When I took the Sig armorer's course a couple of years ago, I think they claimed that dry firing was harmless.

I wonder if whacking on the rear of the slide repeatedly to remove the rear sight contributed.
